Our team reviews your experience, goals, and eligibility to identify potential career, training, or employment pathways aligned to your background and goals.
Preperation & Alignment
If applicable, we help you prepare through professional development, certification alignment, and employer-ready preparation—so you’re confident before day one.
Employment Pathways
Based on fit and eligibility, you may be connected to opportunities such as CareerBridge, SkillBridge (when eligible), or direct-hire roles with employer partners.
Not everyone follows the same path—and that’s intentional.
Why TalentBase Is Different
We don’t just help you find a job.
We help you prepare for long-term success.
Most platforms focus on placement and move on. TalentBase was built to close the gap between transition, preparation, and performance—so veterans don’t just get hired, they succeed.
This isn’t a shortcut.
It’s a structured pathway designed to work.
Prepare Before Hire
We focus on readiness and alignment before placement—so you enter your role prepared and supported.
Training Connected to Real Jobs
When training or certification is part of your path, it’s tied to real employer demand—not dead ends.
Support After Placement
We stay engaged beyond hiring to support onboarding, integration, and retention.
Built by Veterans
TalentBase was built by veterans who’ve made the transition and led teams in the civilian workforce.
Commitment to the program and process
Showing up, following through, and engaging actively throughout your pathway.
Willingness to prepare—not just apply
Investing time in readiness, development, and alignment before pursuing roles.
Openness to coaching and feedback
Being willing to learn, adjust, and grow as you prepare for civilian employment.
Readiness to pursue meaningful opportunities
Approaching opportunities with professionalism, intention, and long-term perspective.
This Is a Partnership
If you’re ready to invest in yourself, we’re ready to invest in you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this free to participate in?
Yes — this program is 100% free for veterans and eligible military family members.
TalentBase will never charge veterans or their families. We honor your service, and our mission is to create real career outcomes—not financial barriers.
This program is also employer-connected by design. Participating employers commit to hiring from the program, and we recruit to their demand so you’re not being pushed through training without a clear path to employment.
Do I need to already have certifications?
No. Some pathways include certification alignment or preparation as part of the process. If certifications are required for a specific role, we’ll help you understand what’s needed and what options are available.
What if I’m not sure what career I want yet?
That’s okay. Part of our process is helping you explore realistic career options based on your experience, interests, and goals—before making commitments.
Does this guarantee a job?
Our program is built for employment—not “training for training’s sake.”
Participating employers commit to interviewing and hiring from this program, and we recruit and prepare candidates based on their real workforce needs.
Here’s how it works:
- We evaluate whether certification training is needed based on employer demand
- We coordinate training and professional development (Phase One)
- We schedule certification exams when applicable
- We coordinate interviews with participating employers
If a match isn’t immediate, we provide individualized feedback and continue aligning you with participating employers until a strong match is made.
Can military spouses or dependents participate?
In some cases, yes. Eligibility varies by program, funding guidelines, and employer requirements. We’ll help determine what options are available to you.
